What a kick!

Wow! I'm amazed and absolutely over the moon to be able to announce that my Koumpiodontosuchus asprokitii has won 1st prize in the professionals category at the 4th International Palaeontological Congress in Mendoza!

Grateful thanks to all the organizers, staff and attendees at the IPC; what an honour it is to have my work displayed alongside such talented artists!

Looking forward to the next one (in four years time!).

4th International Palaeontological Congress

Wow! Some excellent news today - my submission for the IPC's Palaeoart exhibition (Koumpiodontosuchus asprokitii & Neovenator) has formally been accepted.

I've had a little sneaky peek at the other exhibitors on the list and must say what a great honour it is to have my work sat alongside such amazing artists'! Plus, it looks like I'm the only UK artist on the list to boot, so I feel doubly honoured.

Grateful thanks to all the organizers and fellow artists at the IPC4 this year. I'm only sorry I cannot attend...

A curious Koumpiodontosuchus aprosdokiti eyes a Neovenator as it pauses to take a drink on the Isle of Wight around 126m BP.

This piece is my submission for the 4th International Palaeontological Congress' Palaeoart Gallery, to be showcased at the seminar later this year.

Phew! Been a long time since my last post. Fortunately this is more down to being super-busy than anything else! I know this image isn't exactly natural history related, but it's a fun little portfolio piece I just finished and can't resist showing it off! I've used the dragon to hone some skills I want to use on my next piece of palaeo-art, so it's not entirely unrelated.
